    This old postcard is especially poignant as earlier in October 2015, the D&H (Delaware and Hudson) Railway (The Canal Company's successor) faded into the sunset as it was absorbed by the Norfolk-Southern Railway.

    This acquisition terminated the 192 years of the Delaware and Hudson's operations :(
