Can someone help me?

My mom bought this rocker as a set and wants me to refinish them for her but I was hoping for some information on them. The rocker is 40 in tall and 22 in wide. I know that the company is Nichols & Stone but that is all I can figure out. The other chair is made by S. Bent & Bros but is in the same condition. They are very beat up and needs some love and attention but I want to make sure I won't ruin them. I would be grateful for any information anyone can give me.
