    katherines…
    (247 items)

I saw these two platters in a shop, liked the shade of green with the black highlights. The green is sort of a pale greyish green. The small one is 7 1/2" x 8, the big one is 10" x 10", and they are 1/4" thick. They are signed by the potter, but I can't make heads or tails of it. Any guesses welcome. I hope you enjoyed seeing these, and thanks for looking.

?? Rick Color .....LOL. I do not know. Try rubbing some ash on it to highlight it a bit more. Sometimes that help using an ASH ( not talc) on light colored pottery

Thanks, kyratango, it did help a bit, I think the first name is Robert or Richard and the last seems to start with a C, perhaps Colt or Cola or Cole.

Okay, now to me it looks like Roberta Cohen, lol. I honestly still can't read it, can anybody else? :)

It never ceases to amaze me how people can create art but are hopeless at clearly signing their names!!
