    Hi All

Picked these up probably 5 years ago now thinking they were prints, and they went with the then décor. After looking more closely recently it would appear they are originals. Yes, they are quite basic and likely for the tourist market, but I would really like to know who they are by. They have full signatures and marks, but there is no way I can tell who that is. So my question is, does anyone here know of a resource on the internet where you can look up these kind of signatures or stamps?

Any info would be great as usual.

    Thanks everyone.
    Hamish

All I know is that there are different versions of these woodblock prints. Some are
printed when the artist is alive and some are printed afterwards. I think it is like
anything else, the originals are the valuable ones. You might try just googling
Japanese woodblock prints and looking at some of the artist's work to see if the
signatures are like yours. Just go through the stock in dealers sights. Maybe ask
them. They would probably help you out.

Does anyone know of a way of dating these? I expect the originals have been re-printed many times.
