    Hi
Another unknown pottery piece. Appears to be hand made. Not very heavy compared to other pottery I have but maybe because it is thinner. Any ideas??? Thanks....

This looks like glass. Maybe porcelain/china. I'm pretty sure you can't see thru clay.

yeah im not sure what it is. The handle and clamshells are obvious hand formed though. You cannot see through it but definitely not clay...Thanks for the tips...

Not pottery. Pottery pieces don't have a pontil. I see what shareurpassion is saying - the light can be seen through the ruffles. Light can't pass through pottery.

Definitely glass and likely early 20th century or made in that style.
Some of the more knowledgeable on Victorian glass should know more.
