    My wife purchased this ring a few months ago and upon closer inspection I found a surprise.
    It looks like a large solidly built Diamond ring with a large center stone and smaller Bagette & princes cut Diamonds.
    The center stone is not one piece but 4 trillion cut Diamonds formed to resemble a solitaire.
    It very cool looking.
    Can anyone place to the time period, and when have you seen trillion cut Diamonds take this appearance in fine jewelry.

      I believe the mounting and design is from around the 1980's. I maybe wrong.....

      I appreciate ALL the love shown to this ring.
      I would agree in the time period Moonstonelover21,I believe the trillion cut diamond came into being in the late 1870s.
