    Appears to be ugly two candle holder with monkey. Could it be carved from ivory or something? The colors in the candleholder dark cream with rosy or salmon color going thru it. Also a little bit of black running thru it on side

      It is called soap stone Chinese .it is a very brittle stone and hard to carve
