    I'm not sure what pattern it is,or the age. I liked it and got it at a yard sale for 50 cents. Can't go wrong with that kind of price. Maybe somebody can help me figure out what it is. Thanks for looking.

      The pattern is Thumbprint. Fenton made a very similar covered compote in this green colour in 1963 but the base and finial is different than yours so someone else made it and I'm not sure who. This is a very old pattern that was also called "Argus". Look up Thumprint and you'll probably find this one. RER(BOB)

      from the 1965 Fenton catalog this is #4484 Thumbprint Anniversary Bowl in colonial green
