Found in an old church yard buried in the ground. It appears to be hand carved glass or crystal with a copper backing that disintegrated when removed from the ground. The image appears to be a man with a wolf carrying a bow and arrows. The church were this was found was built in 1837 so this may be from the 1800's? Any information would be great! We are curious as to what it is and its purpose.

the figure is Diana - the hunting goddess. also a figure used amongst women who were very close - to the exclusion of men. i found this out when we found several of these images in my great, great aunt george's things. she was a devout lesbian before the word was even said! a really sweet old lady who would throw sugar-on-snow parties for us kids.
