Does anyone know anything about these linen? Thanks have a great day
I think you are looking at batik- not tie dye. Batik is a method using wax and long story short, the end result is crinkles and lines in the fabrics design. Batik was commong in the 60-70s and is still a great fabric design tool today. It is a longer process than tie dye.
Thanks cis2you My wife said that. She knew she is 8 years older than me.I told her you knew. Thanks again cis2you
you are welcome. A good thing to know is that a nicely done batik piece usually sells for more than tie dye. It is a harder craft to perfect. Good luck.
Yes I have been reading about it more and your rightit is for sure more to it than tie die.It makes me feel like im back in the 60s
