      Reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn.

You might want to carefully pry out the brass frame, matting and keeper from the thermoplastic case. Usually a pen knife will do the trick.

Often the back of the image or the case will have information about the subject that has been put in by the family.

The case was originally made to house a daguerreotype/ tintype/ ambrotype. She must have been considered special to replace the original image.

Beautiful! I agree with vetraio50, she does in fact resemble Audrey Hepburn.
