Hi everyone,
I got this doll as part of a lot of other dolls from a New York estate sale. I knew nothing about dolls and was actually browsing for glass bottles, but they seemed to be crying out to me to adopt them. Most of them were PMA/travel dolls (as i now know thanks to this wonderful site), but this one stood out. I am looking for more information about this doll. From my research I suspect she might be a Nancy Ann doll but not sure. Also, the hat shown on the picture was a part of the lot but separate from the doll but it didn't seem to belong to any of the other dolls. Does anyone know if it belongs to this darling? Thank you.
She is a hard plastic Storybook Nancy Ann in original dress . Example below . They made them in Bisque and hard plastic some with painted eyes and some with sleep eyes like yours .

Thank you Manikin! Does she represent any character from any story? Does the hat seem to belong to her or it's some random hat that just happened to fit her?
She would have a name it could be a Birth Month or Spring, summer ect I doubt a character more in keeping with also Doll of the month she would have had a name but I don't have photo's of all the dress's they did and there were hundreds .
Oh and the hat looks right on her since they most often did have hats but I cannot be 1000% sure it goes with dress but appears to .
