Found this in a small local vintage store about 10 years ago. We have a small bungalow and this fit right in. The 3rd picture is a hard-to-see disclaimer that says something to the effect that it was made during wartime and under wartime conditions so there is no warranty whatsoever.

I would be curious to know what exact the wartime disclaimer says - can you type in in as a comment? What would they be disclaiming?
I have a friend who has one of these in the middle of her kitchen and it is so useful and has a lovely warmth to it.
I have one that used to be the butcher block for the old I.G.A. store in our town. It has the most awesome patina to it and there are huge ware spots from the butchers' knives. I absolutely love mine and we only payed $50.00 for it!!
