    This early form of Rum or Whiskey bottle was dug out of a deep wood ash trash pit. I found this trash pit behind an house that was built in the mid 1700's in downtown Savannah. Just think in those days people would have to keep warm by using wood logs. That must have been fun to get out and chop wood to keep warm.

      Doesn't sound like you have chopped wood to stay warm, with 90% of the heat going up the chimney!
