Can’t identify age of pottery or Pueblo. Possibly from Mexico.

Three black lines that are almost contiguous around the inside of pottery. Size 3 ¼ H x 6” W. Black lines go in the inside and outside near rim. Has two opposite indents on the rim.

Canyon R, can you assist? Have purchased the three books by Schaaf—500 Artists Hopi-Tewa, 750 Artists Bio’s, and 2,000 Artist Bio’s.

The clay doesn't look like that used by any of the southwest pueblos, plus the fact that it is burnished (it does look like it's burnished, rather than glazed) and decorated on the bottom, point to it being from Mexico...or another Latin American country.

      could this be Anasazi?

No, Anasazi (now called Ancestral Puebloan) pottery was a gray/white clay with black decoration.
