HI! Can anyone tell me about this? My aunt said that her father got it from the 1904 World's Fair. What is its description? I found a description of "1904, St. Louis Exposition, Key Shape, Cast Iron, Embossed, 5 1/2 in" with no picture so I am not sure if this is the same thing? Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated! THANK YOU!

Normally, items bought as souvenirs from a World's Fair have some reference to the fair written on them. The description you posted doesn't go with this item because this is a pierced design, not an embossed design. Can you post photos of the bottom?

You are SO KIND! THANK YOU for responding! I will see what I can do. My aunt and uncle never had kids and they are second parents to me since my parents are deceased. I SO want to help them. We live several hours from them and they are not in the digital age. :) I will see if they can get someone to send me pics. In the meantime, I will see if they can find anything on the bottom and post it when I get the info. THANK YOU!!! :)

Looks like the nine story Skyscraper bank made by AC Williams, Ravenna Ohio. They also made an eleven story.
I have not seen this one as a Worlds Fair souvenir.

I stand corrected, the other is a twelve story not eleven.

The one in you photo is sitting upside down.

AzTom, THANK YOU!! I so want to help my aunt and I appreciate your information! I will follow up with her as to why she believes her dad got it at the World's Fair. So the 4 corner pegs are not legs? They are the top??

AzTom is right - it is upside down. I see that now. I looked at images of the skyscraper bank by AC Williams and that is exactly what that is. This bank didn't come from the 1904 World's Fair unless her dad bought it from some guy on the street corner, lol~!
