I posted this some time ago but deleted the post as I wasn't sure of its history and it has taken some time to locate. At the time I thought Chinese Song Dynasty, but that porcelain is not as fine. I now believe it to be antique Korean Egg Shell 18th Century with intricate embossing on the very fine egg shell porcelain. I have only seen one other like this on the internet, except my bowl has a Dragon and Phoenix with a Pearl between them. It is paper thin, has a beautiful resonation, in perfect condition and measures 8 1/4" W x 2 1/4" H. I hope you like it. :)

      It is exceptional Lulux.
We tend to forget the Korean wares as they are so much less common.
Their history and skill are very strong.

Yes it is racer4four, 4 photos don't do justice sometimes. I did a lot of research including overseas and Australian museums on the basis of it being Chinese, my replies varied from "it's glass", to "Chinese Celadon". It pays to be persistent. Thanks for kind comment and luv.

      Incredible piece!
This kind of technique is referred to An Hua, and seems to be chinese though the shape of this one is Korean:

Appreciated the link kyratango, how they could hide the pattern in such thin porcelain is beyond me, it certainly is a work of a clever artist. :) Thank you for the luv too.

Yes getthatmonkeyoutofme, is quite unbelievable. The shape appears to be perfect however when viewed from some angles you can see slight variances in the rim level. Thank you for your kind comment and luv. :)
