    Hi, I'm having trouble finding information on these statues. I also don't know how to read the makers mark, because I'm not sure if its HB or a different language. I think they are soapstone or resin. Any information anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated. Sorry the pictures are not that great.

      Hold them aganst your cheek - stone would be cold and resin would feel warm. OR heat a needle and poke it in an inconspicuous place to see if resin. It will stink if it is. If soapstone it will not, and the needle will not even penetrate.
