Another late night trip to the thrift store just netted me this stamp collection. They seem to be from the 30's through to the 60's.
Guess I'm collecting stamps now.

If you want to do more with them than just look at on paper, they make a beautiful cover material for wooden boxes. Just glue them on, edge-to-edge (fit them together somewhat like a puzzle), then brush on several layers of something like a clear shellac that you can get at a craft store. I have a box I covered years ago that I use as a box to store maps (the stamps were from all over the world).
Hey great idea estsalejunkie. I picked out a bunch of Australian ones from this group that don't look too old that I could do this with. Little boxes are a plenty at the thrift stores. Thanks for taking the time to share your creative thoughts with me.
