    I'm told that the handle is actually zinc. I know that it's before 1950 as I dug it out of a household dump used in World War 2.

    I've dug guns before, too, but my parent (I was a child and am only now 19) made me toss them out. :(

      Thank you.
      There was a small pond there originally along with the shale.
      I added all of the plants, dug out the pond, added live fish and live plants along with a fountain, and put new mulch down yearly as well as add more flowering plants and now grasses around it.
      My parent painted the bridge, which was originally red.

      Interesting.
      The three I had found are as follows:
      A certain revolver looking like it popped out of the Old West, one missing its grip (was it wood, thus rotting?) and one that had whitish grip (bone??)
      The barrels were rusted shut, and the things had rust growing on them and covering up everything-- making them look like they were melting in rust.
