Now here's a spider I wouldn't mind seeing ! I spotted this in the case at Goodwill this morning and thought what an incredible piece ! Super bling !! It was in the back and I figured it would have a huge price tag but surprisingly it didn't. The "as is" said it all. One leg is broken off and one of the tiny palps is missing near the head. I took it because I had enough frequent shopper credits saved up to cover the price and paid only the few cents in tax. So it was worth it despite the damage. It really needs a session with Kyra. I'm pretty sure this is just a Halloween costume piece but it is well made and heavy with a spring loaded hinge. I've seen the silver tone ones with clear stones online but not this eye catching gold tone multi colored version. -Mike-

Here's a "makes you wonder" story. My friend and I were at Salvation this same morning and there was a huge wolf spider on the floor by the check out. My cashier friend was freaking out to kill it and I didn't have the heart to. So I coaxed it out the sliding doors with the side of my shoe and into the mulch of the stores landscaping. It's been so mild here in Ohio so far this winter that nothing is dormant, so these guys are still active. Then we go to Goodwill and I find this jeweled spider bracelet waiting for me in the case ! I think it was "a thank you for saving my life" present from the Christmas spider. A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Everyone ! :) -Mike-

That's cool. I wish I had your youth or eyesight. They are taking all the jewelry out of the GW here and putting it online. WHAT? It's hard enough to squat down that far and see it behind glass. OMG.. LOL
