Hello! I also have this same, exact piece that I have collected as well.
It is a Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Table
Sadly, the previous owner removed the side details, called the "wings" of the table, as well as the wooden details that were once on each of the 6 small drawers. The cast iron "SINGER" was originally painted a gold color. The small flip-down drawer in the center was originally lined with a felt lining. Also, the foot pedal has been removed.

Here is a link to show you exactly how your table would have looked if the details and parts had all still been intact - http://www.instappraisal.com/appraisal/singer-treadle-sewing-machine-4

And here is some information regarding your particular table!

      Letter: G-
Register Numbers from: 4048251 to 4053250
      Machine Class (Model Number): 115
      Quantity Allotted: 5,000
      Date Allotted: April 21st
      Year Allotted: 1915

I hope all of your questions have been answered!

Its hard to date these tables except by design your was made after 1900 up to the 1960's your is between the 1900 and 1940's the letter G and the register # don't apply to cabinet machines heads only.
