Shopping Cart on Wheels -- Origin

I knew this cart would come in handy when I purchased it years ago at an antique shop in Madison, GA. Finally determined its origin (1937) when reading through an old 2007 issue of Smithsonian magazine (first picture). You can see in second picture how I use it; it is a handy item indeed. Mine was not found with the baskets included, but one of these days I may have glass cut to fit the shelf space. Incidentally, the cart folds up, is made of very sturdy steel, and is painted a dark evergreen. It has no advertising emblem anywhere on it, and I've never turned it upside down to see if there is a maker's name.
