Hello Fellow Collector. This saxophone-shaped blow accordion comes from Czechoslovakia. It is stamped Haro. This is the one first of the Mickey Mouse toys band equipment....there's a 10 key variant of these also, but this is the 8 keyed one. These were sold in the early 1930's and are made of tin with a wooden mouthpiece. Hope you've all enjoyed seeing one of these. Thanks for looking,

Certainly never heard of a "blow accordion"!
That's how they were advertised....guess same principal and a squeeze box, with the exception using lungs instead of bellows.....lol

Sometimes I have to stop & grin! The "dawg" only responds to Dutch (sometimes), neighbours are mostly French or Italian, gate guards Jamaican (can handle that!), getting petrol is in Spanish & then we have areas where papiamento is spoken. Don't want to forget the occasional Portugee'. You have to laugh & the EU is getting more mixed up ! LOL!!
