    There are so.... many types of saw sets on the market and from the past that I think that I might start a collection. Here's two sets that I found recently.
    The top one on pic.#1 is a German saw and the bottom one is unknown and might even be missing parts, ha, maybe it isn't even a saw set. Any clues, let me know.

      I think the bottom one is a "Stillman saw set", of the mid 1800's.

      I believe that the bottom item is a "wrest." It was indeed to set the teeth on a crosscut saw.
