The swirl patterns on these graniteware basins was popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This one is about 13" wide and 4" deep which makes it a bit larger than the typical piece although there are some that are much larger. In the past bathroom and kitchen sinks were a bit less common so these would be used instead.
Usually these have a hole on so they could be hung up to dry or be kept out of the way when not in use. This one does not so I got a plate hanger seen in photo three. Now it is happily hanging on the bathroom wall along with the others.

I have a set of three matching enamelware pots with a strainer that match yours in color and white interior. They are of a vary heavy gauge steel with heavy chocolate colored enameling and were manufactured for the Great Majestic Stove Co. of St. Louis Mo. They were marketed and sold to people buying their wood/coal cook stoves as cooking accessories and included other accessories such as tea kettles, coffee pots and stove top broilers. circa 1900.

Thank you very much castironkitchens. Circa 1900 is what I was thinking but I had nothing to back that up.
