Can anyone tell me what this is? My dad gave it to me and its hung on my wall for years now. I've always been curious as to what the material is that the scene is etched/carved on. The frame is heavy duty and stamped on back is FRAME-TEX, made in Mexico, SENORA. It seems to be a tile, ceramic, or marble maybe. It has grey vains running throughout is what makes me think marble. Its Very heavy and has to be hung on a stud. The 'tile' is 12inches long by 16inches wide. And total with frame is 20 1/2inches long by 25inches wide. In the bottom left corner it says...Collectors Art Limited. And in the bottom right corner is, what I'm guessing is a signature, the name Gray and under this is 197/2975. Thank you for any info.
Try better pictures. What is the signature there under the pictures?
Celiene, i just can't get any better quality pic than that. yes its some sort of signature, as i stated in my post that on the bottom left is...Collectors Art Limited and on the bottom right is what i'm guessing is the signature.....Gray. the frame is brown in color as it is wood but i don't even know what kind of wood. and the center piece, which i'm calling a tile, looks like a piece of marble, though im not a hundred percent sure that it is.
