    I've got this Singer sewing machine as gift but I don't know much about it.i don't know if is working.Looks complete but I'm not sure.After I short search on Internet and the serial number might be from 1884.i would like to find out more about it.

      Is the ss# 6883004 it is a 1885 Singer 12 or 13 transvers shuttle fiddle base complete with Coffin top.

      Model 12 with Acanthus Leaf decal variant. The 13, if you're looking at one in a photo, has an extended plate piece running from the needle to the front edge.
