Well - you already know it is Canadian - http://www.ourcutebabies.com/parenting-message-boards/Fun-and-Entertaining/The-New-OCB-Lounge/51040.html
One was on ebay, from a Canadian seller, for $12 but did not sell - http://cgi.ebay.com/MULTI-MILK-LIQUID-CONCENTRATE-BOTTLE-MULTI-MILK-BOTTLE-/330442445593?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item4cefe79319
That's all I found, other than the current veterinary pet supplement. As serious milk bottle collectors watch ebay, and no one bid on it, and the bottles don't have a small town or family/dairy name, these bottles just don't have much appeal to a collector at this time.
Since this bottle has an A.C.L (applied color label) it could be no older than around the mid 40's.
If there are any other marks on the bottle, that might help to determine where it was made and the year.
Question/Request:
My grandfather lived in Fayetteville, TN and co-owned Avalon Dairy. I would say this was probably in the 20's or 30's. Both grandparents died before I was born. My dad is 87. I saw a vintage milk bottle with this dairy name on it while I was on a business trip. I told my dad about seeing a Fayetteville, TN milk bottle. Dad said that "Pappa's business was Avalon Dairy in Fayetteville, TN" I had never known the exact location or name of the dairy---I would have bought a couple for my dad and myself. I would like to locate a milk bottle for my father. I would like to start collecting bottles. Please let me know if you spot or own an Avalon Dairy milk bottle from Fayetteville, TN.
