    Believe it or not, these are VERY RARE and sought after pieces! Many ppl think of clears as common, which many are, but these early HEMINGRAY pastel pieces are tough to come by. The embossing is called Transition on these, they were a "transition" between the early smooth based ones without drip points and the ones with the drip points with the PATENT MAY 2 1893 added at this point as well. See the picture I posted of the earlier smooth based models.
