They are dirty because I NEVER got them wet ! I don't think they are Gremlins tho......

If the old batteries were corroded, you might need to clean the contacts (again?) and put a bit of petrolium jelly on the contacts. I use an old ink pen erraser to clean contacts.

I think that's just about the saddest thing I've read all day. When they were "alive" they were just annoying, but seeing them like this, I kind of feel bad for them. :(

I think it was a clever idea whoever invented it. (I wish it was me) lol
I still have the booklet (on the so call language it speaks) but never really could understand what it is. My 'Furby' sometimes speak to me in Engish it says: "I Love You" or "I don't like you". lol
