    Brass ? but definitely metal (1.2 oz), 7?" long, Hook, Graduated notches.
    Found in estate box lot with nothing else related.
    Any clue what it is? and what it's used for....

      I believe the notches in the handle are for counting stitches.

      Sorry, the notches are row counters not stitch counters.
