Wooden Swan Lamp

This wooden pair of swan's lamp is from my grandparents home from the mid 60's, I have a pair of them, and fondly remember them growing up. But I do not know when or where they got them. The shades have been replace several times over the years and they had to be re-wired to meet today's electrical standards.

I'd like to be able to figure out what shade should be on them and wonder who made them.
