Can anybody tell me what this is? I picked it up at a antique shop.
Some kind of nite light. I opened up the inside and it's stamped;
ER ELL Made in Austria Ges. Gesch
Any help would be great!

Need a little moe information, any marks, patents ect. Is it battery operated? Maybe post a picture of the bottom and be a little more descriptive. Interesting whatever it is.
It has a battery compartment, no modern batteries fit in it.
It doesn't have any marks or numbers on it. The eyes have light bulbs screwed
into eye sockets.
Also it has a cast metal body and tin battery compartment.
CREEPIE !
With the suit and bow-tie, it looks like it might be a political figure? Or maybe a carcicature of a scientist? Help me Mr. Wizard!!
would it be possible to get a picture of the battery compartment? is there any info in there? Really odd.
I opened up the inside and it's stamped;
ER ELL Made in Austria
Ges. Gesch
Found Ges. Gesch, it basically means registered or patented. then rest is a mystery........
