This alarm clock looks very much like the common Big Ben clock but I have been unable to find this Seth Thomas clock anywhere Any help anybody ? Thanks Steve

He Sbooher (Steve). Welcome to Collectors Weekly! You have a model that Seth Thomas called the "Dreadnaught". The Dreadnaught is from circa 1913. It might also be the "First Call Alarm" from circa 1915. Both models feature an Intermittent and continuous alarm mechanism and look identical in my reference book.
While in the "Repeat" setting, the alarm will repeat every twenty minutes or the alarm will sound continuously for twelve minutes if not shut off. That's a long sounding alarm, but instead of "Snooze" I would call that a twenty minute "Nap". :)
It originally listed for $3.20 in 1913. (or $3.50 in 1915) A quick check on the inflation calculator tells us that was the equivalent of $76 (or $82.55) in 2015.
That's a neat clock. Nickel plated. Looks like it is in great shape. Cosmetically it is anyway. Does it run okay?

Thank you very much for solving this mystery. This clock looks almost new and the inside workings look as clean and pristine as the outside. the key is with it and it works great. I was confused as to how it worked ,but you answered that question.
Have you seen any of these clocks for sale? I was wondering what a price range I should start with if I decide to market it? Thanks again. This is a great informative site.
