This vintage suitcase has traveled around the world with a distinguished gentleman. It is in remarkable condition for it's age! It dates to the 40's (maybe earlier).
The decals tell an incredible story of the places this suitcase has been. You will find decals from such places as the Intercontinental Hotel, El Salvador...the Grand Hotel...Pensione Ristorante Primavera, the Riviera....Park Hotel, Dusseldorf....Hotel Reichshof, Hamburg....Viscount, Trans-Canada Airlines....Northwest Orient Airlines....Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam...KLM....Eden Au Lac, Zurich...Hotel Columbus, Bremen....Hotel St. Petersbourg, Paris....Hotel Beau-Rivage und Lower...Continental Hilton, Mexico....Kitzbuhel Tyrol...Hotel Eden, Dusseldorf...Zugspitze Garmisch...Hotel Caumartin, Paris...Deutsche Lufthansa and they go on and on!!!!!
Each decal is so unique and different with artwork that you just don't see anymore. Considering the age, these decals are in great condition with nice vivid colors and writing. The suitcase is black with brown leather trim and stiching. The inside is in remarkable condition with a tan lining free of any tears. All hardwear works perfectly. Suitcase measures 20 inches by 13 inches by 5 1/2 inches. The handle is in perfect condition complete with an original Trans-Canada Air Lines luggage tag.
