Antique rare Art Nouveau Snake Serpent Pocket Watch Holder Crystal Dome France approx. 1900s in good original condition.
As with the acquisition of all of my antique jewelry and collector's items, I rely on my own taste. I want something only if I think it's beautiful. And this item I found this in the same way. Because I have long sought a pocket watch holder to hang up my antique pocket watches in I'm glad this magnificent piece found. I was so to speak, immediately in love.
This Beautifully handmade (Probably France) Crystal / Glass Domed Pocket Watch Stand or Holder consist of three parts : Wood Base, Crystal Dome with three yellow brass button legs . The Dome, Wood Base and the Snake Serpent with Curled Tongue Hook are in perfect condition. The snake has fine details and beautiful lines. Dimensions: about 8.8" (2 cm) High x 7.3" (18.5 cm) Diameter of wood Base & Dome. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are exceptional. In my opinion a fantastic collector’s item.
Including this beautiful silver/gold pocket watch with the sides two golden edges and beautiful shapes. The back is decorated silver. On the bail a makers mark P.B. (??)

Celiene thanks indeed it's a ladies watch. Tomorrow I will post the watch. I don't know the maker only that it was made in Switzerland. I'm also not opened. I do not know how to do that because with these watches I have not much experience. I guess I should look for someone who has to know it well and then perhaps more hope to come.
