Yesterday I bought this small brooch in one antique shop in Lewes. I think the stones are amber, not very sure about the metal. The seller couldn't tell me more about it. If somebody would know in which decade these brooches or tie pins were in fashion I would be grateful.

That is definitely worth a fiver! Looks like amber & silver to me, too. - Do you see any marks anywhere? Look on the pin hinges - sometimes marks are hidden there. Take it to a shop and have the metal acid tested, then you know for sure.
