i belive this to be a 1920s harley oil can from what i can read on the side it says 24-5-30 saint louis can . hope i diddnt pay to much . it has been repainted and the paint looks good they did not repaint the side just the front and rear . looks really cool. do you know any more history on this ?

The rocker cans were used in the mid twenties. If the Harley advertising has been repainted it more than likely was another brand of oil originaly. If was a all original Harley can, it would be worth $800.00 to $1200.00. As a repaint, probably $75.00 t0 $175.00 for it's decorator value. The repaint is very well done.
Will do well on Ebay. just sold some small 60's Harley stuff & did very well
