Recently I assisted a customer of mine with a move out of the McKinney Texas area. He had many antique pieces that belong to a family member. I asked about the small bulldog doorstop that was on a bookcase. I once had a dog that looked similar to it. As a parting gift he gave me the doorstops. What's better than one? TWO HUBLEY DOGS !! Well I found out they are not small door stops but bookends..... Duh that's why they were on a bookshelf.
The dog measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches long.
It weights about 4 lbs. great paint and expressions.
They are wonderful....almost alive!
I love these! I'm a huge fan of the Hubley doorstops.
These are left facing one piece stops. Who authenticated them as Hubley?

Thanks for the reply. I wondered because I collect Hubley stops but not book ends or toys unless the toys are marked with Fish along with Hubley.
