Hoya rarely ventured into coloured glass with their cut crystal so I was happy to find this one.
Quite a classic shape and with perfectly balanced lines cut into it.
Of course being Hoya, and Japanese, the cutting cannot be faulted.
The label indicates this is 1960s-70s although the box it came in looks later rather than earlier.

We all need those at times but I will miss you.
I am truly sorry Thomas, for many reasons.
1. You won't be here and I won't get to love the music.
2. You feel you have been let down by CW - sometimes I think Show and Tell is a small thing for them - it is business they are in and they write for that. They don't seem to always understand that collectors are their business .....
3. You feel other people have hunted you with their posts. Not everyone is as accepting and generous as you and I am sorry you have been hurt.
In the 2 years or so I have been here I have tried to be positive in my posts and my comments. At times I have been misunderstood and it has caused me stress. Really my feeling is that I just want to share my interest and me interested by what others collect. I see no point in making rude or facetious comments and never would! I see some that do and think if it can't be positive, don't bother. Life is too short.
I hope you and your wife and wonderful family continue to be happy and collecting.
I'm sorry to lose someone with your generosity and wide knowledge - I hope your business keeps growing!

wtf ...is happening. THOMAS, do not leave? What happened here and what was wrong with your posts of Records / music? Music vinyl are the BIG THING right now and music companies are making them again after years of vinyl records being on the down-side. Now there are all the Rage.....so THIS IS THE NEW OLD COLLECTIBLE.
Sorry to hear this Thomas.....a long time ago I had posted a post called " SHOW, TELL............and LISTEN " in which I had old music records posted and links to them on youtube so people could hear the Music. As sometimes someone IS looking for a song and they do not know the name or who sang it either. I had posted the post " SHOW, TELL ............and LISTEN" and AUDIO is also part of the record collecting too -- HEARING the music from back then.
Just to let you know -- Someone complained about that post of mine and it got removed too. I could not understand as Record Vinyls and Music is such a big part of Collecting these days. Did you remove them, or did they remove them?
Collecting EVOKES all sorts of collectibles....and it is not for anyone to say different!! I enjoyed your posts.......as it took me back in time too. Some CW are here to try to do everything against another, some CW try to help others, some just post, and some just Police everyone else collectibles and decide what is collectible and what is not. anyways...I am with Karen......Thomas do not go. Your posts brought *some fresh air* to a lot of other posts that were about finding some big time treasure -- for only .99 cents. YOUR POSTS WERE FULL OF PASSION!! And I enjoyed that !! I miss you.......... :-(
