The Goshen & Deckertown Railway Company was a 6 mile long railroad in New York State. It later became the Pine Island Branch of the Erie Railroad. This railroad operated from Goshen, NY, the county seat of Orange County, NY to Pine Island, NY to serve the fertile farmlands of the area. The engraving on this particular certificate is wonderful and very intricately detailed. This certificate dates from the late 1800's.
