Antonio Pineda was born in Taxco in 1919 in the state of Guerrera, Mexico. Pineda was one of the most outstanding of a entire generation of world class Silver designers. He worked in Taxco between the 1930s up to the 1970s. He was a designer with a national and international reputation as a modernist.
Here I have a silver and obsidian swan necklace and earrings. In one of my photos, there is one from a book called Silver Seduction which is about Antonio Pineda's work, you can see the same necklace and earrings. I've put my necklace and earrings next to the photo. The hallmarkings on both necklace and earrings are from 1953 to present day. I think both of these pieces were made in the 1960s.
I also have a swan bracelet and brooch which I'll put on at a later date
    Many thanks for looking
