This is a continuation of my other post yesterday.
The first 2 pictures shows the size of the "Necco Candy Scoop" (New England Confectionery Company) in Cambridge, Mass. The company was formed by several smaller candy companies that merged in 1901. Someone asked if there were "mold marks". In Picture #3 you can see the "mold line" going up thru the ribs of the little mug, but stops at the band around the top. Picture #4 shows the "mold line" going thru the handle. The mug (candy scoop) must have been keep on a window sill and the sun turned it purple (manganese in the glass).
I wanted to know if anyone knew which glass company made this ?
I found this info, "the mug is #253 on pg.50 in Mordock's Pattern Glass Mugs." So I guess maybe the expert's don't know where it was made ?
