This is my only Japanese piece Neodymium/Alexandrite Vase. Possibly made in the 60's - 70's. Pictures show the same vase in different lighting...daylight, incandescent & fluorescent. It is a large heavy vase, measuring just shy of 10" tall and 7" wide. I am always on the lookout for this glass, having almost 30 pieces so far, I find this glass quite fascinating and special.
That is a gorgeous piece of Tajima.
I have some of these Tajima pieces in other colours but have never seen them is neodymium glass....lucky you!
Thank you racer4four...it is a really beautiful vase, & I bought it at a bargain price of $20 aud...very happy, as I collect neodymium & uranium/vaseline glass, & have some quite unique pieces. Love my glass!!
