This toy came with the house (among other stuff i'm still discovering after 15 years being in it lol). I looked it up, but I can't find consistent information on it. Its make year ranges from 1940s to 1960s. Some call it replica...a replica of a cannon or a replica of the original toy? I believe it's a Civil War cannon? It's brass and cast iron (i think).

I'm not an expert on toys or military items. If someone knows more about it, please share =) Much appreciated!

It's a replica of a replica caricature Civil War cannon.

It could be a decorator item but then again could be a toy. I don't think I would call it a replica, generally a replica would be full scale.

These are souvenir items sold at probably every battle site in the world. Just a memory at a glance.

I agree with blunderbuss2 on this one, a souvenir. The wheels look like diecast.
Will a magnet stick to the wheels?

BB2, Fortapache, AzTom, thank you so much for your contributions. It's probably both- a toy and a souvenir. I did further research, and it appears that it was made my Michael Falk Toy Co. (can't find much on the company) and one ebay listing has this cannon still with a label "Gettysburg National Military Park", so you all are correct!

Thank you all who stopped by and "loved" it! =))

I bought this obvious Civil War cannon as a Cub Scout at Valley Forge more than 50 years ago. I know it’s not a Revolutionary War Cannon but it still has the sticker. I also got a toy mortar there.
