I would like help identifying this chair. I have stored for several years from my mother. I believe it is oak but I know nothing about it. If anyone can steer me in a direction so I can find out something about it I would very much appreciate it. Thanks

Same rules apply as my last comment on newer post. Most manufacturers also put their own twists and ideas on more traditional designs so there is even more difficulty in finding makers.

Bladerunner is right. It makes it difficult to id. The only thing I can say at this point is turn it over and look everywhere there. Not always, but many times there is some kind of sticker or embossed (?) into the wood the maker and sometimes just a number. At least it may give you something to go on, if the whole thing is not there.

It's a nice chair, for sure.

I have this exact chair. It belonged to my grandmother. I'm not certain how long ago she had it, but I remember it from when I was 12. Which was 53 yrs ago. It was given to her by a client of hers. I too know nothing about it. Any info much appreciated. Thank you
