My camera simply couldn't handle the brightness of this postcard-- the intense red made it struggle to focus. I had to add a filter, as seen in pic two, to make it focus better.

But, this is the brightest postcard I've ever seen. At only 75 cents (due to severe damage as seen,) I had to pick it up. The brilliant red automotive and brass headlamps drew me in.

Another interesting thing is on the back: "Hope you don't meet any of those animals that scared Mr. [I cannot read it.]"

Anyone know the make and model?

Get yourself a scanner they are pretty cheap. I just got a new scanner and it makes posting much easier and better.

The lithography company here did a good job of redoing the photo, hovever it could be reduced a lot better in photoshop these days.

fortapache is right, a scanner would help. Once you have one you never would go back to not having one. Might be a good one on the cheap internet sites and maybe the owner would install for you.

You dun good Trey ! I think the Cleveland. Sure is a long tube for a horn.
    15. SpiritBear, 8 years ago
I do alright with photography in most cases. But thanks for the tip on the scanner.

I agree with the Cleveland. I saw two others of this card online, postmarked 1909 and 1910.

Thanks for the help and comments. :)

Nope - it's the Peerless. Look at the box on the running board.
    17. Celiene Celiene, 8 years ago
The Cleveland doesn't even have a running board. GREAT cars, though! WHEN I win the lottery.....
    18. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 8 years ago
      OK Celiene, I bend ! Peerless !
    19. SpiritBear, 8 years ago

You think ? Well, we still have to on a bridge anyway. 1,200 mi. is a long bridge ! That's just to Key West !!
