Sometimes I will find an old photo or negatives that is almost lost to sun fading or other damage and see what I can "pull" out of it with good scanner and computer software. It still seems kind of magical to me sometimes.

I do the same thing, but tell me, what in the world is he holding? Surely not a snake?

Looks like a scythe or a sling blade to me.

It is a scythe, he is holding it with the blade end up so he can sharpen it with a file or hone.

Thank God its not a snake.

      Hi Stefdesign,
Yeah - the wonders of computer software. At some point you have to draw the line though, I commonly find I spend way more time on an image than I intended to.

Thanks for the likes & loves, fossilhunter, Savoychina1 & vintagemad
