Any ideas as to age on this YSL Rive Gauche beauty? Every see one similar? Thrilled to have it in my collection.
Thick rich caramel colored calfskin with unique scallops and grommet detail. Handle drop is 10" as shown, adjustable.. embossed Saint Laurent Italy on reverse. Immaculate condition.
I have a bag almost identical to this that I purchased at a second hand store in early 2000’s. It is black, it has the same rectangular shape with the same beaautiful scalloped side pocket. But mine has a corded ( tightly woven ) leather strap that can be worn crossbody. Not a twin, but a sister bag! I have never seen another like it until stumbled onto this site. Yours is really beautiful too!
